Crafting this Burger 21 commercial was a fun experience. Each food item was captured against two distinct settings in two sets; a pastel color in a practical set, and an LED background in a virtual production studio. Shooting on two sets simultaneously, allowed us to shoot a lot of content in a small amount of time.

To amplify the production value of this project, we leveraged a probe lens to capture unique shots, and a primo dolly for fluid motion. Our food stylist deployed a host of innovative tricks to make each item look just right, like adding gloss to the burger for an appetizing sheen, substituting real whipped cream with shaving cream, and utilizing faux ice.

With an extensive food item list, along with time-sensitive elements like rapidly melting milkshakes, we had to find ways to shoot quality shots quickly. Thanks to creative techniques and a great crew, we attained the high quality we were striving for.
