Tampa Bay Thrives is a nonprofit working to increase access to mental health care in the Tampa Bay area. Their current campaign is "If You Know, You Know", or IYKYK. You may not know what someone is going through by what they show you on the outside. 

For their video, we wanted to illustrate what IYKYK means visually, so we created 2D, black and white backgrounds to get that idea across. As our interviewees' stories became more hopeful, the scene behind them filled with little pops of color. We wanted to show that your world may not be completely back to normal, but there is hope with help.
